Sheffield has served us well over the last few years but it’s time for a change. Flat-e is moving back to London this week to a studio in Dalston. Our new address is 10-16 Ashwin Street, London, E8 3DL. Feel free to drop in and say hello if you’re in the area.

Flat-e provided visuals for 808 State and Tim Exile at the Bangface Weekender. We also did a special anaglyph 3D set. The complimentary glasses distributed at the event described the set as a SHAPE-THROWING-ASTEROID-FIELD OF MAYHEM. More Info808stateTim Exile.

Another chance to see the custom visual set we created for LFOs iWarp tour. Tickets & Info.

The British Council commissioned Flat-e for a new production called ‘Destination Tbilisi’ in 2006. This was the first time it had been performed outside Georgia. We performed the show live in Istanbul with the Georgian Artist Nikakoi.

Ourselves and Ultre showcased a new live audio visual project for onedotzero @ Nuit Blanche. The 3 screen set takes inspiration from the 19th century adventurer Charles Waterton, exploring a delusional fantasy world of tropical illness, taxidermy and exotic moss.

Other UK acts performing were d-fuse and UVA.

Flat-e have just returned from doing the main stage visuals for the Afisha open air picnic festival in Moscow. Apart from the lightening bolts, torrential rain and thunder it was ace. This is a huge festival with all that’s great about Moscow (50,000 ravers, old cars and vodka) and all that’s worst (bribes and bare chested secret police). We provided custom visuals for artists such as Múm, Clinic, Junior Boys and others.
