Video promo for The Junior Boys track ‘Like A Child’. Created to look like an animated version of pages from a school exercise book the video was constructed around footage of the band performing live and all animation was assembled frame by frame using scanned felt-tip pen and pencil drawings.

Pitchfork’s Jessica Suarez said:

‘The Junior Boys’ new video for “Like a Child” (a track from 2006’s So This Is Goodbye) has a great handmade look to it; it almost feels you’re watching a homemade, moving scrapbook. The watercolors that cross in front of the video footage make each little picture of the band glow like a small stained-glass window– a fitting way to visualize the song’s delicate, subdued nature.’
