Flat-e provided realtime sound reactive visuals for the iconic Steve Reich work New York Counterpoint. The London Sinfonietta performed the piece at the International Performing Arts Centre, Moscow. The custom application used to sample the live instruments was first developed during a collaboration between Flat-e and Alex Evans and allows us to sample specific instruments as well as audience sounds.
